Slightly enlarged spleen with hypotrophy/atrophy of the white pulp and (diffuse?) micronodular transformation of the red pulp with an inflammatory-pseudotumous like apperance.  
 
Any chance of a PAS and CAB or Masson-Trichrome staining? PAS would be very, very helpful.  
Any chance to perfom immunos?  
 
Any chance to get more clinical information? Chronic inflammatory process? Tretaed ITP? Tumorous appearenace in the radiology? Symptoms?  
 
Was the capsule intact/thickened? What was the colour of the cut surface? 100% sure that there were no nodules, even large reddish ones?
