The bone marrow seems reactive with some eosinophilia and activated erythropoiesis. What is the Plt value? did you do the iron stain? Is there any history of bleeding?

I would like to add to Anjas comment the question: is there any evidence for parasites, in particlar hookworm, which could be a cause for chronic bleeding ?

Thanks to both of you, for your comments. Stool examination has been suggested, but have not received the sample yet. It must be frustrating to evaluate underworked cases, excuse me for the same. I am also feeling the same frustration, but economic factors and unavailibity (locally) of some tests leads to it.
