My impression is that it is a squamous cell carcinoma. However, there is extensive intracelullar mucin production (4307). Could this be a solid variant of adenocarcinoma or a mucoepidermoid carcinoma ? Thanks !

I support the diagnosis of a mucoepidermoid carcinoma.

The macroscopic growth pattern with central necrosis and cavernization is primarily suggestive of squamous cell carcinoma. Is it possible to schow the mucus production with PAS?

I agree: the gross appearance is in line with a squamous cell carcinoma. But the mucoid cells in image #307 and #311 together with a lack of keratinization justify in my view the diagnosis of a MEC.
