Clinic:  Oblong nodular  yellowish  mass   attached  to  the    cervical  vertebral   esophagus  and    carotid. Duration   3 years.
 
CT:  deep   cervical soft  tissue mass,   8 x 6 cm.
 
Clinical  diagnosis: Neural  mass.

I support your diagnosis of an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. IMTs are in the recent WHO-classification regarded as tumors of the intermediate category which may recur or metastasize in about 5 %. But usually an aggressive behavior cannot be predicted on morphological grounds.

Definatly a benign lesion consistent with a benign inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor
