F 25 Clinic: left little finger: Pain at flexion and extension, 8 years. Received: 2 skin-covered gray-white tissue fragments. Problem: I hesitate to make a diagnosis of a squamous cell carcinoma in this young women and a history of 8 years, but what would be the alternative ? In addition there is a swelling of the axillary lymph nodes of the same side: "smear shows cytologic features of malignant round cell tumor with prominent nucleoli and moderate cytoplasm; it looks more secondary than Hodgkin's lymphoma".
